Technically this is not on time, well I guess it is actually because it is before class…
I think we do style exercises so we can look at the way fully developed writing looks when written in different ways and then come up with our own type of writing. By seeing how other people write, we can take something from each person and form our own unique style.
If I could write like any author, I would write like JK Rowling. She has a way with words that just draws you in and keeps the pages a turning. Even though the scenarios she writes about are completely unrealistic, the writing makes you feel like it is possible. If I wanted to write like her though, I would have to work on my imagery. My imagery is crap right now, basically I never use it… so yeah.

Blagh why does there have to be a title anyway? It is so pointless, why do titles even exist? What if all the titles in the world just went KERPOOF! Now, would that really be such a bad thing? NO
I don’t think I have posted a single non-ATDP related thing since I started this blog. Ah, I need to express my love for two movies, The Royal Tenenbaums and Love Actually. I might be certifiably obsessed with The Royal Tenenbaums, recently I have been watching it to help me sleep…XD Ah well I think it is an excellent movie, I love black comedies. The whole Margot-Richie thing is just such a great element of the plot. And Margot is just amazing. She is kind of insane/will lock herself in the bathroom but still awesome. And Love Actually, for those of you who haven’t seen it, it is one of the best romantic movies ever ever ever. My favourite storyline is the two stand-ins, they are just so funny together. And Hugh Grant’s little dance had me rolling on the floor, no scratch that I laughed so hard my abs were sore the next day. Anyway, just thought I’d get that out! See everybody on thursday.

Aag whoops forgot to post this….just saved it to drafts…
If I had to pick a major right now, I would choose Environmental Architecture/Design. It’s all about building and designing sustainable/eco-friendly homes and buildings. I would probably have to write papers on building designs, maybe research papers on other architects, and essays talking about why such and such is important and why it will work, or something like that. If I could write a paper on anything right now, I would write it on sustainable structures.

Watcher
My watcher’s name is Emily. She wears a tophat with a picture of a long, winding road on the… not brim part? Not sure what it’s called. She has dark brown wavy hair and wears red cateye sunglasses, even inside. Somehow, she never smiles and is always kindof frowning. She has a black trenchcoat with one of those polo dresses underneath. She also has a pair of mean looking black boots and always carries an umbrella. She’s a big fan of the “Is this really your best writing?” line of attack, and usually advises deleting most of the writing. She also loves to insist on specific conditions, like a completely clear desk, curtains closed, glass of water, snack, clean room etc.

You should really take a vacation. Watching me and trying to kill any semi-creative ideas must be very difficult and exhausting! Why don’t you go to Hawaii or something. I bet you think that you are going to win this war, but trust me that’s not going to happen. Soon, I’m going to sneak up on you and win a few battles for creativity!
